Professor Aloke Ghosh is nominated for a Presidential Excellence Award for Distinguished Teaching by the students of Baruch College, The City University of New York. Professor Ghosh teaches the graduate intermediate accounting course, which is frequently viewed as the most challenging course in the MBA and MS programs.
The winner of the award will be chosen by the Awards Committee. The committee will look at the following factors to pick the winner:
- teaching philosophy
- course syllabi
- course reading lists
- other course materials
- current curriculum vitae
- peer evaluations for the past 4 years
- student evaluations for the past 4 years
