Dr. Al (Aloke) Ghosh is Distinguished Professor of Accounting at the Turner School of Accountancy, Belk College of Business,  University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Al Ghosh has published in a variety of leading accounting and finance journals. Outside of the world of academia, Al Ghosh is an advisor on accounting, auditing, and finance matters to several leading hedge funds and other financial institutions in the U.S. and around the world.

Professor Ghosh’s past appointments include Professor of Accounting at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College (CUNY), Accounting Academic Fellow at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, and visiting professorhips at Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland), Hanken School of Economics (Helsinki, Finland), Bocconi University (Milan, Italy), Goizueta Business School of Emory University, ISB (Hyderabad, India), Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand), and Yonsei University (Seoul, South Korea).
 
Ghosh holds a Ph.D in business and economics from Tulane University, New Orleans.
